Woohoo! Once again, it’s the time of the year to collect some moolah from people whom you usually don’t take money from.

Got woken up by mummy around 10 plus to her words that why am I still asleep and do I know what time isit ? :/ took my own sweet time to crawl out of bed and wash up to get ready to go to my maternal grandma house.

Tada! My new RED dress and shoes! Totally in love with my shoes.

First time in many years that I wore a dress for CNY. Felt a bit self conscious.

Headed down to grandma house because everyone is gathering over there. Was pretty upset when sue ping (cousin) told me she is leaving soon to go somewhere else and wont be returning. :/ lol.. but what upsets the most was that she left her camera in the car!!! ahh!~

Saw my cousin, Albert, girlfriend (siew wen, if im not wrg?) for the first time. And the whole lot of us excluding her started gambling before we even tucked in to the wonderful food prepared by grandma and my auntie! Was pretty cool as this is the only time we really communicate with some of the older cousins who are not around most of the time.

By 4, most of my cousins had alrdy left. Leaving me, yan yi, wei ling, wei quan and the others who are too young to be mentioned here. Lol.. the 3 of us started playing mahjong in the bedroom as the adults took up the living room while wei quan took a nap. how can he slp thru the noise?

I found myself thinking that with each year, CNY seems to get quieter/ boring? Is it part of the growing up process? If it is, I don’t wish to grow up so fast. Life will be really boring then. Because everyone will really start to drift apart and we will meet up less often. L

Enjoyed myself pretty much today mostly to the fact that I won when we were gambling. Add on to the delicious food like jellyfish, sea cucumber, sharkfins, blah blah, and the surroundings of love ones :D
