im rewatching this korean drama again for the god-knows-oh-many-times! but i nv get sick of it cos its soo nice and funny! the thing is that it is done as closely as possible to reality. below are some of the funny (to me) dialogues between the actors.
"in this wide and big space, on a star called earth, you and i met. it has been 100 days since you came to me thank you for coming to me." ===>> aww.. so sweet!
"she's not pretty, to tell you the truth, she doesn't have a pretty face, she has a plump face. she is 30 years old and she is a bit fat, but being fat isn't a bad thing either. when you hug her, she's soft, like cotton candy" ===>> aww.. even more sweeter! *wishes*
"at the end, people will see everything their way. people define it the way they want, and act however they want." ===>> true in a certain sense
"the reasons why we cant meet good guys
1. good men are ugly looking
2. cute guys have lousy personality
3. cute guys with good character are married
4. cute guys with good character, and single are poor
5. cute, good character, single and rich guys aren't interested in us
6. cute, good character, single, rich and interested in us are players
7. cute, good character, single, rich and interested in us and are not players are gays."
==>> HILARIOUS!

(funny bed scenes!)

rants:
in this time and age, where pictures of skinny actresses/models are splashed across the pages of newspaper, the slightly plump/curvaceous real women are being called fat/ugly. size 0 is the new 6 , and size 6 is the new 16.
wad's the matter with some extra flesh here and there? if your bum fills up the back of your jeans, doesnt it makes you look more bootylicious?
sure, you wont look as nice as those models who parade around in their itsy bitsy bikini, making you envious and a resolution to lose weight to look like them. ironically, i belong to this category of women. but for most of the time, i eat what i like, do what i like, i dont do diet. whats the point? starving yourself of those wonderful food to look like one of them just to fix in?
not looking or having one of those small size figures in singapore, directly makes you an outcast or stares at your chest or bottom just its different from others?
when i overstuff myself at a meal, i would just go for a 30-45 mins run around my estate while listening to my mp3 and working up a big sweat. the extra flesh around my middle doesnt disappear but at least i feel healthier and less full.
being skinny sure does helluva lot look nicer and hotter in clothes but for me, i will just be me though i will moan about it. i just live once and only once.
