first thing first!
I SAW MY MUM & DAD KISSING AT THE GATE!!!!!! aww~~~ LOL LOL LOL!
i was eating the bananas while leaning coolly against the kitchen door frame, watching my dad taking his luggages to the front door. he's leaving for Germany, Frankfurt, tonight and will be gone for one week. after that i guess he will be heading off to china for a month? :/ not so sure about the details as i only found out last night while discussing about several stuff on the way home after dinner at 933.
didn't know why i was suddenly craving for roast duck yesterday night. told my mum about it, and i was joking that if later i call my dad telling him i wanna eat roast duck, he will go to 933 and get it for us. ok, its an insider joke la. but the thing is that, my dad is on good terms with the workers at 933 cos they would hang out and drink beer together, so whenever there is good stuff like fresh chicken, duck or pork, they would definitely pass on some to my dad. and whenever we ta pao or go there to eat, lol its always free. haha! but i feel bad sometimes, cos.. its not that cheap considering they always give us lots of stuff and free flow of beer which i had several mouthfuls yesterday.
i wanna get a camera!! saw the one from olympus going for 400 bucks and 7.1 megapixels to boot. if i get a camera, i would definitely walk around the whole of singapore to take down interesting pictures, whether isit about buildings or people. after all, its about capturing the moment. once it passes, it will never return.
hmm.. felt that this few months, i'm on quite a good term with my parents. usually, we would quarrel whenever we talk, but yeah.. loving the communication this few months. :) hopes it continues this way. haha.. maybe my perspective changed due to some changes. loving my life right now. tada tada tada~
ah!!! went down to grandma house today!! well, i was supposed to go up to her house first for some porridge before going out together with cousins to shop till we drop but i was lazy to take the lift up to the 20th floor, so i just met up with my cousins at the lift lobby before heading off together to bugis.
omg, time really flies. i saw one of my male cousin, alfred. he changed alot. i couldnt recognize him at all. sueping was shouting "ALFRED, ALFRED" and i turned the whole 360 degrees to search for him only to realise that he has already walked past me and towards the building. :/
once again we were dressed up to the nineties. i love dressing up! sueping in her skinny jeans, guess mini bag, and her new top. yan yi in her navy green tube, jeans and charles&keith shoes. i love her shoes!! haha.. and me in my new victorian top, tights and my heels. sad to say, there isn't any pics today as we were busy walking/shopping/talking, not to mention having to deal with the sunday crowd.
anyway, we went back to the shop at bugis to collect the 3 bags that we paid a deposit for last week. and yan yi bought another bag at that shop! haha.. but the shop owner was nice enough to give us lots of discounts. yay~~ so in love in my bag right now. its white with black and has a suede interior which happens to be one of my favourite material as i have a skirt that is in the same material. it looks expensive, like some branded bag from armani and its so meet the devil in prada! muahaha!! showed it to my mum and her first reaction was " siao ah, who am i running off with?!?!" i just happen to like big bags!!
went down to far east plaza to look for some flats/pumps for sueping. it was pretty unsuccessful. but she and yan yi bought some beautiful accessories. i will go back another to get mine! did i mention i'm broke??? well, i'm thats even considering the fact that i took my next week allowance earlier. so dead right now. don't know how am i going to survive. :(
walked around the plaza for awhile, and saw a advertisement outside this lovely lovely favourite book store of mine, selling beautiful note books, looking for sales assistant, so we went in and i left my number with the sales assistant. *crossing my fingers that i will get this job :)
went to another store and bought a white top while yan yi bought a grey one. paid for me first as i didn't have cash left. gotta return her soon!! shared an upsized fried mars bar with vanilla ice cream and 2 cups of bubble tea.
walked over to taka to buy stuff from the body shop. oh yeah, the service at bugis body shop really sucks. the S.A dont even know the product well adding on to her snobbish attitude, i felt like slapping her.
lol.. i was pretty mean today. there was this guy who came up to us for donation and asked whether do we speak english. i replied "no" in english and walked off. but walked back again cos yan yi was stucked with him. normally, i would donate when asked nicely but today happens to be the day that i have not enough cash. so , yeah, too bad.
reached grandma house pretty late and my parents had already left as my dad has a flight to catch. ended up taking the train home myself. but i had informed them that if i am late, they can go off themselves first. its the first time at ah ma house there isnt any rice left, so she cooked mee swan for us. so nice :) went home straight after that.
enjoyed myself today! love the company of my cousins. :) lets remain this way forever! oh yeah, and we have to swear off shopping for this few months first!
