ah.. the swear about going off shopping this few months was thrown out of the window today. judging from the title for today, i went shopping again. is shopping a disease or something? because i have never enjoyed it much before! :D its a good thing though. well, in a certain sense, yes, because i have plenty of clothes to wear just like a mini fashion show.
i got woken up by my cousin, sueping, today. she called me around 8.20am or earlier to inform me that she's on the way to my house.
its fun having your cousins around. she came over and tried on some of my clothes as she wanted to borrow them to wear out. so i lent her my red dress, my blue topshop top, my black half length pants and my black slip-ons. while i took her skinny jeans and her white topshop top. spent about 2 hours in my bedroom mixing and matching and trying on the clothes.
headed down to punggol clinic via bus to book an appointment for her dermatologist visit as the queue there was pretty long. since the appointment started at 2pm, we walked back up to hougang mall for some brunch for me and lunch for her. decided to eat cafe cartel lunch set meal. the main course was breaded chicken roll with teriyaki sauce. omg, for its fancy sounding name, it was actually processed meat within. something like the hotdogs that you can get at ntuc frozen section except it is thrice the size of it. salty and fake were the words to describe it. it ruined the perfectly fried breaded part. i love the bread there though. its pretty good. warm and fluffy on the inside and crusty on the outside.

dessert was ice-cream. had some fun breaking off the nicely waffled shape of the waffle. happily stuffed, we walked around finding a cover for my poddy and took a train back down to kovan and tracked all the way up the slope to the clinic for her appointment. lines were already forming outside the clinic by the time we came out from CHEERS where we were enjoying the air con while waiting for the clinic to open.
the doctor was hilarious.
sueping: "whats the difference between pimple and acne?"
doctor: "pimple is acne, acne is pimple. there's no difference between pimple and acne. pimple is the layman term for acne."

the whole thing cost 35 bucks including medication for 4 weeks and a bottle of cleansing lotion. pretty cheap considering that some places charge at least a 100 and above. we walked back to kovan station again to take the train down to bugis for some shopping as she wanted to get some black leggings.
i ended up buying a pair of leggings, red belt and a pair of sunglasses. i don't know why. but lately whenever i go out under the sun, my eyes cant seem to open at all. getting a bit paranoid about my eyes as its acting weirdly under the sun. maybe i'm suffering from morning blindness. anyway after slipping on the sunglasses, my eyes felt so much happier. i can open it without squinting and all the uncomfortable stuff.
headed back to grandma house as usual because its so near and we were both pretty tired and ended up taking pictures and having dinner over there. did'nt really eat as i was tired and couldn't be bothered to move my mouth to chew the rice or anything. left together with sueping and her parents and took the train back home.
my allowance for this week is more or less gone. busted is what i called it.
