woohoo~ another entry detailing about my shopping craze. but at the same time, it means i had blown away my money on clothes. ah.. dont really care because i am in the desperate need of new clothes that fit me. :( so sad.
bing hua came back on monday morning around 6 plus when she finally got home. she was sleeping when i called her asking her whether she wants to go out with us for a movie later on. there was a mis-communication on my part, i guess, namely because i didnt know the chinese translation for "The Reaping" and just told her its about Christianity and there is a part where there are lots of flies and there is a little girl inside the movie. thinking it was another movie, she didnt watch the movie with us.
went back to school to reformat laptop and thats where my handphone dropped! :/arrghh! still quite upset over that matter because it has been my favourite phone so far.
anyway, headed back home to drop off my laptop and rest for awhile before going out at 5.45pm to meet the rest of the people who are going to watch "The Reaping". meeting time was supposed to be at 6pm but i am always dilly-dallying around and ended up late. received fazil's call while on the train asking where i am as majority of the people had reached. at the traffic junction, cliff called to ask where i am. sorry people!
we met in front of cineleisure burger king. jason, you rui, fazil and cliff were all wearing black! the first thing i said when i saw them was " wa lua, you all wear black then never say!" their reaction was quite funny because it took them that to realise they are all wearing black. lucky i bought along my BLACK sweater and quickly wear it.
had long john silver for dinner and everyone ordered the seafood set. omg. it was pretty bad. the fish was uncooked. when i cut it open expecting to see fluffy white tender meat inside, it was greyish and so raw. everyone was complaining about their food. haha. great minds think alike. made lots of jokes and was laughing all the time. then, wei de came over to join us after collecting the tickets. lots of laughter during a part where i asked who was the one who suggested eating long john. lol! and you rui was like "you all say dont know what to eat one ma, then eat long john lo" all of us collapsed with laughter at this part because he owned up himself. soon, kelli came and then all of us went up to the theater. and then there was the part about the toilet thing inside the cinema.
we sat at the last row of the whole cinema. was pretty far away from the screen. lucky there werent any giants that was blocking the view. the show was good. one of the best i had watched so far. walked over to taka after the movie because kelli wanted to get some sweets but everything was closed. with nowhere else to go, all of us headed home. was around 10.45pm when i reached home.
met up with bing hua yesterday! have not seen her for a very long time. the last day i saw her was the last day of our maths exam and she was going back the next day. haha.. she became more pretty. long hair suits her much better. went to nana thai for a late lunch, food was so-so, waste of money. headed down to gelare for waffles as it was half-priced tuesday. hehe. catch up with whats going on in each other life and what we had been doing since the holiday starts and talked about lots of stuff. ah.. its good that she is back! missed her alot. after that, we walked around the plaza to search for clothes. well, for me only because she had done her shopping back home. i was quite shocked when she told me about the price of her top which i had seen the exact same piece in some shop in far east plaza going for $19.90 and i was considering to get it too but did not in the end. she got hers for $8 back home! what a big difference in price. no wonder the shop owners are reaping in some big bucks.
tried on many shorts and tops. bought a pair of brown shorts for about $30 from "miss snotty". i realised that i cant buy free-sized tee shirts in singapore. one thing is that its too small across the chest for me. making the whole shirt so tight and i dont like it. otherwise, the designs are all very nice. :( thats why i end up shopping in topshop most of the time, because there are sizes there but price wise its damn expensive for a student pocket.
bought a white off-the-shoulder top from 77th street at around $20. then 2 dresses, one of which is in a few shades of patterned green and the other is just plain grey. total cost was about $53.80 after i persuaded the ladies to give me a discount which they did. walked around for a little while more and decided to call it a day.
there is still a list of things i need. here it goes:
1. a new handphone. actually eyeing something from motorola v series. i want a phone that is slim and flat.
2. a new bag. out of the 3 usable bag i use, 2 of them had their handles giving way.
3. pumps/flats.
4. skirt
5. tee shirts
i guess the next time when i see her will be when school reopens. which is on the coming monday! did i mention how excited i am when school reopens? no, i didnt. I CANT WAIT FOR SCHOOL TO REOPEN!! WOO~~!!
okie, i dont know why i am excited but to hell with that, i just cant wait! it will be a brand new academic year for me and i am going to excel in it!!! or so, i hope... lol
