lol! a search on youtube for the song "pretty woman" ended up in the above video. ah... its been a long time since i watched any bollywood movies. before you start dissing off the idea of watching indian people acting, sometimes its good to just sit back and enjoy the storyline which usually revolves around love. though it can get kind of cheesy at times, indian movies are nice to watch.
one of my favourite movies is "Lagaan", an Academy Award Nominee for the Best Foreign Language Film. "Lagaan" loosely translated it means "agricultural tax" which was to be paid to the British rulers who were occupying their land. more of the story can be read here Lagaan.
A truly touching story. Unwavering faith in themselves and breaking free from the unreasonable rules that were given to them and the unconditional love of Elizabeth who is English, thus proving that love transcends everything. (i have no idea what am i going on about =.=)
