Been going back to school almost everyday for choir practice. Had a almost 12 hour practice on Monday. Voice nearly gone. Concert is less then a week away and there are still many loose ends yet to be tied up. Havent been satisfied with my voice and the way I sing. Went very off-key all the time after coming back from the camp. sighs.
hmm. Already made some plans about what to do after the concert ends and the cca drive. Might be going back to Paper People to work. Farhan and Yani approached me about going back as I said that I'll go back after the concert is over and done with. Told them I would prefer to work only on weekends.
Might want to go back string ensemble. But have to see when is their practice sessions. Want to pick up the violin, or maybe go back to viola again? Not sure too.
Meeting up with the choir committee members later and the emcees. Asked Reynold to help us out in emceeing.
Lots of little problems cropped up here and there. Hope, our officer, keeps on breathing down on our necks regarding the ticket sales. And a very big communication mistake regarding NP principal coming down to watch us, which wasnt confirmed. Everytime when Nicole and I go down to her office, she repeats practically the same stuff to us. *yawns* lol.
Holiday is almost gone. Havent exactly met up with any of my friends. Class outing tomorrow at the Grand Cathay for Suki Sushi buffet. Going to push the tickets to my classmates.
The art/music culture is still not established in Singapore . People always tend to dismiss such events due to "lack of money" or "i dont appreciate such music". Gets on my nerves sometimes. Why cant they be more open about new stuff even if they have never heard us sing before. Isnt it the same theory you apply to new food that you havent tasted before, but you are willing to pay exorbitant prices just for a taste of it?
