I have this love/hate issue with my mum.
Okay, its not a good opening to an entry. But who says life is good anyway. Been down this few days with high fever and throat infection. Should have known the signs after the backache started appearing on wed night. Missed school for thurs and fri. choir on friday. hmm. Been sleeping a lot due to the effect of the medicines that I have to take. This is one of the reason why I refuse to see a doctor or take medicine unless really really really necessary.
Still feeling a little off. Fever just subsided today. But my voice hasn't returned yet. Dry cough and flu are still present.
Family.
Since I've been home this few days, I'm able to observe what is really going on. Im not home about 80% of the time.
Prior to me falling sick, I went out with mum to get some stuff and she aired her unhappiness to me about my paternal grandmother who is currently residing with us. I felt abit ridiculous after mum told me about what grandmum had said to the doctor, friends, etc.
How so?
Before the start of all things,
On last tue evening, I asked after my grandmum after noticing that she's having some difficulty walking. She told me and my mum that it is because she sat too long on a hard surface area the day before talking to her friend, thus, it has resulted in this.
Then on Friday, when she couldnt take her back pain anymore, she asked mum to bring her to the doctor. Amazingly, what she told the doctor and what she told me and my mum is whole different story. In front of the doctor and mum, she blamed my mum that it was because of the pails that are positioned and when she tried to get up from the stool that she was sitting on to wash her clothes, her back accidentally bumped onto the edge of the pails, thats why she is having all this back pains now. The funny thing is, she said that it happened during the month of August.
My aim here is not to berate grandmum that she's at fault or something. I dont take any sides in any situation. I would try to access wht is going on from the beginning till the end before I start on my point of view.

Aunts from paternal side came to visit her, and apparently the same thing that she told the doctor was repeated to them and including the fact that she was sitting downstairs for 3 hours talking to her friend. But the emphasis was on the pails that my mum positioned that caused her being unable to get up from the bed and move around.
Strange thing was my aunts believed her. Rather than trying to find out the truth itself. And comparing the time difference between October and August, would it take so long for the back problem to surface? Especially so when long ago, it was determined that she is suffering from back problems too and any agitation would result her in being unable to get up from her bed herself and cause her pain whenever she tries to move.
Comparing the statement that she told me and mum, and the statement(s) that she told other people, there is a vastly great difference. This has not only become the matter of the truth but also a matter of allegations and reputation ( for my mum).
