YAY~ I went out with my cousins today. GIRL POWER! Met yan yi first at potong pasir before going to orchard mrt station to meet up with sue ping. Woah.. we were all dressed in our Sunday’s best. Partly, due to my fault because I asked the both of them wad will they be wearing in today outing. Well, cant really blame me, because I am curious and didn’t really want to appear too sloppy.
Went to my favourite shop to get sue ping her basic empire top. Had lunch at Food Republic and sharing our food around with each other. I like sharing my food. Its like getting the best of both/thrice world as I am able to taste their food without paying money or getting too stuffed up.
Walked on to paragon Dorothy Perkins to see if yan yi’s top is still there. Sadly, it doesn’t stock her size. Went on down to heeren to canterburry (right spelling?) to check on her rugby stuff and tried on clothes from shops around the place. Bought accessories from the store outside NUM as it was having sales. Loving my new red necklace as it makes me glow in radiance.
One of the best thing that why I like to go out with them is because they are really good bargainers, as in they will try to get the best price without hesitation. Unlike me, who just pay and run off. Ah.. must learn the art of bargaining from them one day. Lol..
Took a bus to bugis but it rained! and we found out we took the wrong bus. :/ dropped of at clark quay and took the train to bugis. Went straight to Dorothy perkins to check whether yan yi’s top is there. AND!! I saw!! A BEAUTIFUL LITTLE BLACK DRESS which flatters me and my body a lot!!!! It cost $56 and just only left with one piece that is in my size! Got the lady to check for me whether do they stock it in paragon. L argh.. no!! ended up reserving the dress at bugis, may end up buying it if I get my money by tml! But mum is going to kill me for buying that dress.
But back to the topic, yes, the place had her size and she bought the top.
Headed down to bugis village to get my pants where I had alrdy paid a deposit and reserved it. LOL.. we went into a shop for a top that cost $16 and the 3 of us ended up paying another deposit for 3 bags, one for each of us, that amounts to $90. going back on next Sunday together with our money to get our bags! Yay~~ so happy!! See? That why I love my cousins, not only they manage to get the bags down to the best best price but also we tend to buy things from the same store! J
The kaya roti at bugis village is so delicious. By now, all of us were broke and the bread cost $2.50. using up my $3 to buy one loaf and shared among ourselves while walking to grandma house.
Slacked around in her house for awhile and tried on each other clothes, pants etc.. and moaning about the lack of money and the sinfulness of spending so much this whole month. Haha.. then ate dinner and took the train home with yan yi.
feeling kind of depressed now lol. everytime i go out, i realised that there are alot of things i would want to buy bcos its lacking in my life or jus for the pure wanting of it. ahh.. Desire~~ a stronger word then want. i DESIRE all the things i like! haha!
