i went to paper people (http://www.paperpeople-shop.com/index2.htm) located at far east plaza for an interview during yesterday afternoon together and he waited for quite a long time outside for me without complains. so sweet. hehe..ah.. i watched this movie with him later on after we had lunch. enjoyed the movie alot and his company alot alot and alot! :)
i was pretty surprised that will smith could play such a character with depth because normally i would associate him with comedy shows like the prince of bel-air ( a sitcom he had done when he was just starting out) and Men in Black. roles that are most of the time requiring less effort to act out.
reported for training at 12pm today and first thing i did was to take stocks. i think i spent about half an hour making out where are the books and matching them with the title on the paper. my supervisor, farhan, helped me out alot by pointing me where the books are and teaching me how to differentiate and going through most of the rules and regulations.
yan ( the boss ) called me in for a chat and we talked about stuff like how this company came about etc.. he's pretty nice for a boss. there are no airs or whatsoever about him.
met up with terence and weide for dinner at cafe cartel after work ended. we ordered st louis ribs and a platter of seafood combo to be shared among the 3 of us. had a nice time as we were all talking about lots of stuff like the future, wads going to happen in year 2. all kinds of things. i like to hang out with friends or cousins to just chill and talk over food or coffee. we stayed till 10pm before making a move as weide had to go back to camp. and we had plans to meet up again soon for lunch at a korean restaurant that terence is going to bring us to.
got to report for training for 4pm tml. the first 2 days of training totally has no pay. :/ but den on is $4 per hour. and i'm on a week probation. if i manage to pass the probation, the pay will go up to $5. i find the terms are pretty cool considering the schedule and its a place that sells the things i really like alot. and i get to meet lots of people in the meanwhile. will be heading off to topshop at wisma on friday to get a taste of how isit going to be like over there cos its totally different from the shop at far east.
